I have to admit that this was one of the trickiest pieces I’ve ever had to re-design but I hope you agree it was worth the effort. The sewing box is from the 1950’s and was donated by my husbands vintage furniture company http://retrorumage.tumblr.com/. I have used 1950’s vintage magazine ads to create a ‘one off piece’ that really stands out.

We recently were invited to take part in the next series of Fergal Quinn’s ‘Retail Therapy’ due to go out on RTE in May. Our brief was to upcycle stools and accessories for the revamp of Carrie’s Cakes in Ennis. Once three ugly duckling jars are now three Prelovedstyle swans. Two pine stools are now two Preloved vintage classics!

We recently supplied Nelly’s cafe on South Circular Road in Dublin with another set of our beano/dandy stools. Nelly’s is a cosy cafe with home-baked cakes, wholesome soups, sandwiches and delicious organic coffee. http://www.facebook.com/nellysdublin
